Safety Measures for ships operating in Polar Water
- This chapter makes mandatory, from 1 January 2017, the Introduction and Part I-A of International Code for Ships Operating in Polar Waters (Polar Code)
- Polar Code covers the full range of design, construction, equipment, operation, training, search and rescue and environment protection matters relevant to the ships operating in the inhospitable waters surrounding two poles.
